Everyday Make-Up Essentials

As I sometimes tend to oversleep, my every day make-up routine has got to be something I can depend on being the same....ALWAYS. If I find items that seem to work for me I keep them in my circle for as long as I can, it's rare when I find myself trying out a new product-1. because I'm scared that it wont look right once I use it 2. that I won't know how to use it to it's full potential/properly and 3. because even after I do the back of the hand/neck "test" I can never get my right shade -___-

For me buying something affordable is key, yes I know high end products are better or should be better quality but when I was younger my mom was never really the type to spend all this money on a bottle of makeup. It wasn't until high school really that I was allowed to wear a full face of make-up and I tend to keep it on a budget.

I know I'm not the only one whose ever had these issues but still, I can't help to think that if all these girls on IG can do it why can't I? SOOO after many hours of YT tutorials and beginning to feel more comfortable with my acne prone-acne scarred-big pore oily skin- I began to reach for the non-obvious safe zone items. This however has not solved my lazy ass letmesleeptillmyalarmsnoozesforthefifthtime self so I try to keep it a short list of must haves and currently these have made the cut.

Since my active break outs have been minimal in the past months, I was looking for an inexpensive full coverage foundation no help cover the redness and scarring. For the longest time all I used was the Maybelline FIT me! matte+poreless foundation in 120 or 220 depending. Even though it was a "matte" foundation I still felt shinny and more on the orange-y side by the end of the day. I bough this L'Oréal infallible total cover foundation before going on vacation to Mexico to pair it with my amie natural based matte-moisturizer, and I've been using it everyday since! I love it.

You need minimal product to apply and it covers everything! With my color correcting from city color, my under eyes are practically non-existent as well. This is my go-to everyday foundation routine, it hangs on my face all day and does not oxidize to and orange umpa lumpa color. It miiiiight be a bit fair on my skin but once I contour I like the natural feel it gives me. I like to keep it simple with my eyes as well because (not gonna lie) I'm barely learning how to blend and apply eye makeup properly. With this easy to use eye pallet it has been GREAT, I just dust one of the light brown shades then I apply some of my tarte bronzer to make a smoky eye effect. Daily wear just requires some deep black mascara of your choice and done! You end up with a super chic and easy look, you can kick it up a notch and apply some glitter, my new fave has been this pink shade by naked cosmetics. Another must have has been my liquid eyeliner from e.l.f. besides the fact that's loooong lasting, it has a dark color that doesn't smudge when you apply more than one layer, and it makes for a super cute thin cat eye....it cost 3$!! I can even do my makeup in the car now and I don't need to bring half my bathroom with me when I do so.
